KURK began with an unexpected and life-changing moment—our founders' cancer diagnoses.
Trent's cancer diagnosis
At 34, Trent was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Frustrated by the lack of natural, effective ways to support his body during treatment and recovery, he and his best friend, Dr. Harry, began drafting the business plan for KURK.
Boston Global Research
Australian businessman and philanthropist Bill Moss (the legendary founder of Macquarie Bank and Boston Global) was doing his own research into curcumin—the powerful anti-inflammatory compound found in turmeric. Bill and his daughter Natalie remain proud shareholders and Board members today.

Drawing on Dr. Harry's expertise and collaborating with leading doctors and scientists, they spent years researching and developing a breakthrough solution in their custom-built lab in Twickenham.
