Our Story—A journey of resilience.
When illness struck, we had to find a better way
KURK began with an unexpected and life-changing moment—our founders' cancer diagnoses.
Trent's cancer diagnosis
At 34, Trent was diagnosed with Non - Hodgkins Lymphoma. Whilst undergoing conventional treatment with his medical team, he became fascinated with the challenges of plant science and began drafting the business plan for KURK with his best friend Dr Harry.
The search for natural solutions
Determined to take a thoughtful, holistic approach to their own longevity, they explored natural compounds that were medically endorsed. The most promising was curcumin—a naturally occurring compound found in turmeric that has been the focus of scientific interest for decades.
KURK Bioscience R&D lab was born
Drawing on Dr. Harry's expertise and collaborating with leading doctors and scientists, they spent 6 years researching and developing a breakthrough solution in their custom-built lab in Twickenham.
